Animal House

Occasionally, I will do or say something that betrays my upbringing in the redneck South. This morning for instance. After five solid minutes of my boy cat yowling at me for wet food, even though his bowl was full of dry food, I finally yelled "If you don't shut up, I'm gonna beat your ass!"

In other pet news, I finally pimped out Turtle Turtles habitat. I wrote about feeling gulity for keeping him in a big old Rubbermaid container. Now he is living in a fabulous 30 gallon aquarium, with a pump and little ledge that he can sit on. But the best part is that TT now has a basking lamp and he sits on his ledge under the lamp complete blissed out for hours. Is this a happy turtle or what?
